Not so happy Wednesday

Not so happy Wednesday.

...Odin had an 'off' day today according to Nana.  I'm sure it started with a lack of sleep from last night!  Odin was up four times last night.  His sleeping patterns have been a little off from last week.  He will sleep all through the night on a couple of nights and then be up 3 or 4 times on others.  I'm not sure what that is all about.  I'm wondering if his gums are really starting to bother him.  Nana said he was chewing on his hands like crazy today and not to terribly interested in eating.  

He is definitely becoming more and more independent!  He tries to hold his bottle while feeding him and tries to take the spoon out of your hand while eating cereal.  I mixed some peaches with his cereal last night and I think he liked it.  He made a few funny faces but ate it up.  He is almost sitting up on his own.  He can sit by himself for a few seconds before leaning to one side or before he tries to get his toes in his mouth.  

Jim and I are planning on teaching Odin Baby Signs, so we ourselves are trying to get used to using signs now on a regular basis.  Obviously it will be awhile before Odin is coordinated enough to use signs, but is good practice for us.  

I have yet to capture a smile on this child's face with my camera!  Everytime I pull the camera out he gets all serious.  It is like he is concentrating really hard on trying to figure out what the camera is.  Modeling career for Odin.... I think not.
