First Boo-Boo

Odin had his first boo-boo.  He was in the tub and he reached to far for a toy and boinked his head on the side of the tub.  He screamed for about 20 seconds and was fine, but he had a red mark on his head for the night.  That is the first of many, I'm sure.  

Jim and I have been keeping our fingers crossed.  Jim was sick last week with that nasty cold/flu that is going around.  I thought Odin and I were in the clear, but then I woke up on Monday with a sore throat.  I have been home sick for the last two days.  Odin has been doing fine though. On Monday he wasn't himself, but he slept for a long while Monday night and was in a happy mood on Tuesday.  Naturally, I have been at home camped out on the couch watching daytime TV.  Have any of you Moms out there heard of In the Motherhood?  I was watching the Today show and Jenny McCarthy was on talking about this web show.  Because I think Jenny McCarthy is so stink'n cute and funny, I had to check it out. Real moms write in with stories and you can vote on which one is your favorite.  They pick stories and that is the basis for these web shows.  They are hysterical!!  Check it out!!
